We’re delighted to announce that Seventh Art has been shortlisted in two categories for the Screen Awards 2017.
I, Claude Monet has been shortlisted for the Event Cinema Campaign of the Year Award, while Marketing Manager Holly Joice has been shortlisted for the Rising Star Award. Remember I, Claude Monet will be in cinemas again in 2018 for encore showings. Don’t miss it on the big screen.
The winners are announced at the prestigious awards evening at London’s Grange Hotel on 30th November.
Exhibition on Screen has won the 2017 European Heritage in Motion Award in the Film and Video Category.
Heritage in Motion is an annual multimedia competition on themes related to Europe’s cultural and natural heritage for the creators and users of films, games, apps and websites. It celebrates the best multimedia achievements and products, raising public awareness about the outstanding value of Europe’s heritage in all its facets.
The award, which was announced and celebrated at a ceremony on 29 September in Skopje (Macedonia) was made by the jury who stated “The multi-layered approach helps to unfold the secrets of both the artists and the museums and makes the exhibitions accessible to a much wider audience.”
We’ve had films going out far and wide – including some festivals. Both THE ARTIST’S GARDEN and MICHELANGELO were well received at the Barcelona Film Festival and I, CLAUDE MONET recently won a MASTER OF ART award for most beautiful arts film of the year. Mainly though we’ve been busy finishing the film you’re about to watch and working on next season’s. Highlights have been shooting in Buckingham Palace, Windsor Castle and Venice for CANALETTO, seeing how much people have enjoyed our HOCKNEY film at preview screenings and beginning to shoot in the south of France for our forthcoming CÉZANNE film. We’ve also had a film shoot just complete in Afghanistan but that’s a story for another day.
